Zeb Colter recently was in the news (in a good way). His real life grand daughter, Amelia, age 17, was killed by a man on parole (for aggravated burglary) The man was on drugs (or drinking while driving) when he struck Amelia, killing her. Amelia's family petitioned the Tennessee legislature for a law named in her honor to hold recent parolees accountable for committing other crimes while on probation. Amelia's law takes effect this month (June 1).
